EAGLES FLIGHT In this journey of life.

I have seen deserts I have seen forests Drought and overflow Are all relics of my passage I have seen and sin not Yet I have this in my travelogue. Then flew in the impulse Coming to me in its full heights And Like the Eagle When its feather is weak Goes to the top of the Iroko To shed off its old wings, Growing up the new ones And then it begins its flight. I resort to my solitude And then came to the push To swim through the hazzles Never allowing my background Put my back on the ground. I looked up to the heavens Aiming at the higher ground Where I can reminiscence On those days When I was down. Then will I fly Beyond the strength of my wings And sit among them They, who are on the higher ground, Meant for only the swift.
