ANXETY
A vague feeling of dread or
apprehension
A response to external or internal
stimuli that can have behavioral,
emotional, cognitive, and physical
symptoms.
Feelings of uncertainty,
uneasiness, apprehension, or
tension in response to an
unknown object or situation.

PFEAR the body's physiologic and emotional response
to a known or recognized danger.
P$AL AETY- response to an anticipated event.
PAETY TRAT- A component of personality that has
been present over a long period and is measurable by
observing the person's physiologic, emotional and
cognitive behavior.
PAETY $TATE- result of a stressful situation in
which the person loses control of emotions.
PFREE-FLOAT AETY- anxiety that is always
present and is accompanied by a feeling of dread.

Perceptual field reduced to focus on
self,can't process any environmental
stimuli, distorted perceptions, loss of
rational thought, can't recognize
potential danger, can't verbally
communicate, possible delusions
and hallucination, may be suicidal
ay bolt and run or totally immobile and
mute, dilated pupils, BP & pulse, flight
fight or freeze
