GEOGRAPHY ROCKS AND FOSSIL TRIP TO MUTLA RIDGE

31 October 2011 Dear Parents The Geography Team has organised an excursion to Mutla Ridge for Year 7 students on Tuesday 06 December 2011. This trip will support their classwork and give the students insight into rocks, fossils and geological processes here in Kuwait. As Year 7 will be studying this topic, it is a vital experience on offer to your child. It will also give the students an opportunity to complete simple field work techniques. There will be no cost for the excursion. Students will be expected to be in full school uniform. Students will leave the school by bus at 08.00 and return by 14.00. They will be expected to attend lessons before and after as per the school timetable. Please ensure that your child comes prepared with a packed lunch and sufficient water. If you would like your son/daughter to take part please complete the reply slip and return it to Mr Oliver Millar or Miss Gemma Cullen by Thursday 24 November 2011. We trust that you will support this whole year level initiative to develop your childs knowledge and understanding of these invaluable concepts. Yours sincerely

Gemma Cullen Teacher of Geography
