    The Pacific Maritime Association notified its members that the ILWU Local 13 union will hold a stop-work meeting for its second shift workers on December 1st, 2011 between 5pm and 3am. No longshore labor will be available during these hours except for exceptions like passenger ships or military cargo. The union agreed to a one-hour extension until 6pm to finish loading vessels or complete guaranteed 8-hour shifts for vessels that started at 9am.     November 23, 2011 BULLETIN NO. SBUL-0018-2011 TO MEMBERS: STOP WORK MEETING THURSDAY, DECEMBER 01, 2011 The Pacific Maritime Association has been notified by the officials of ILWU Local 13 that they will hold a Stop-Work Meeting on Thursday, December 01, 2011, second shift only, between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. No longshore labor will be available for work from the hours of 5:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. Thursday, December 01, 2011, except for passenger ships, essential military cargo, DST rail, and emergencies, as defined in Section 5.24 of the Contract. The Union has agreed a one-hour extension up to 6:00 p.m. will be allowed to finish and sail vessels and to complete the 8-hour guarantee for 9:00 a.m. vessel starts, pursuant to Section 2.41 of the PCL&CA. Where no second shift is contemplated due to the Stop-Work Meeting on Thursday, December 01, 2011, workers will accept comebacks from Wednesday, November 30, 2011, second shift, to Friday, December 02, 2011, second shift. Since this meeting is scheduled as provided for in Section 12.31 of the PCL&CA, it is considered an authorized Stop-Work Meeting.
