Leche Frita (fried milk)

Leche frita (fried milk) is a traditional Spanish dessert recipe. It's quite easy to do, and the results are spectacular! If you want to impress your guests with a non-conventional, yet succulent dessert, try this easy recipe. Serves: 4 Preparation time: 30 minutes Difficulty: easy

Ingredients
32 fl. oz milk 6 fl. oz olive oil 1 spoonful of sunflower oil 2 eggs 2 oz corn flour 2 oz of light flour 1 stick of cinnamon 4 oz sugar

Preparation
Dilute the flour together with the corn flour and sugar in 1/4l of milk. Boil the rest of the milk with the cinnamon stick for ten minutes and add it, after straining, into the paste made earlier. Simmer the mixture on a low heat, without stopping stirring, for a period of 10 minutes. Put it on a tray greased with sunflower oil and allow it to cool. Once the mixture is cold (one day later), cut it into rectangles of about 10 x 5cm, putting them into flour and beaten egg and frying them on a medium heat in the 2dl of olive oil. Dry off the excess oil and sprinkle them with sugar and ground cinnamon.
