What I learned in Washington.

Mr. Kennedy will speak about his experience in Washington and the importance of STEM in the future for District 204 and the country!

Mr. Michael Kennedy (Physics teacher and Assistant Science Department Chair at Neuqua Valley High School) spent last year in Washington DC as a Distinguished Einstein Fellow at the Department of Energy. He provided recommendations to policy-makers in Congress and appropriate branches of the federal government about developing and/or managing STEM educational programs.

Mr. Matt Kirkpatrick, District 204 Coordinator, and Metea Valley High School Science Department Chair will focus on the successes and challenges in implementing current and future STEM initiatives in Indian Prairie Public School District 204.
