Applications for UGC-SAP Ph.D. Fellowships in Chemical Engineering Department

Applications are invited from Indian Nationals only for the award of UGC-SAP Fellowships to pursue Ph.D. programme in the Department of Chemical Engineering of ICT. The application forms can be purchased from ICT or downloaded from the website. The completed application forms with necessary draft Rs. 1000/- for Open and 500/- for Reserve category must reach ICT (C/o Professor V.G. Gaikar), N.M. Parekh Marg, Matunga, Mumbai 400 019 on or before 15th December, 2011.

Note :(i) Candidate must score at least 40% marks in the Written test in order to be eligible for the

interview. (ii) Candidates who have scored at least 40% marks in the ICT's entrance test in Chemical

Engineering/Chemical technology/Bioprocess Technology/Chemistry in the academic year 201112, can appear for the interviews directly. But these candidates must submit an application for Ph.D. admission. (iii) The following disciplines will be considered for the award of the fellowships (Master's

degree in Engineering and Technology: Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, Petroleum Engg., Petrochemical Engg., Biochemical Engg., Bioprocess Technology, Biotechnology, M.Sc. in Chemistry). (iv)Preference will be given to candidates with engineering/technology background and with GATE score. Note the dates Written Test Interviews : : 19th December, 2011, 10.00 a.m. 20th December, 2011 2.00 p.m. onwards
