Risk assessment

During the process of filming our music video we may come across some risks that could affect our filming. This can either be based on weather/environment, lawful permission, timing, availability (people who are involved in making the video or acting in the video may not be able to attend each session of filming). Therefore by having the appropriate risk assessment we are able to make sure that throughout filming so we are prepared for any situation. Risks that we may come across: Weather/environment as we have not planned to have snow or rain in our music video, it is essential that we decide the best days to film our outdoor scenes. There is also a risk that could occur during the outdoor filming sessions such as animal in the background or the public walking into a scene. Lawful permission As a few scenes will be set in a park, it is important that we have the permission to film because it is in a public place. This is as risk as the council who are in charge of the park may not allow us to film on the day we choose to film as there may be events or incidents that have happened in the park we wish to film in. Timing depending on the time of day we film is important as we did not choose to have any scenes of our music video

to be at night we cannot film at night, although we must make sure we give ourselves enough time to film before it gets dark as it is winter and will be getting dark early. Availability some member of both the film crew and actors may not be able attend some filming sessions due to personal issues.
