CITY OF IQALUIT City Council is looking for residents interested in serving as Members-at-Large in 2012 on the following Committees: Standing Committees (meet on a regular basis) • Niksiit (3 positions) • Recreation (4 positions) • Public Safety (3 positions) • Economic Development (3 positions) Ad Hoc (meet on an as needed basis or as prescribed by Legislation or By-law) • Board of Revision (4 positions) • Taxi Review Board ( 3 positions, 3 year term) **please note, there are eligibility criteria for this committee, please contact Valerie Collin at the information below for particulars) • Taxi Advisory and Complaints Committee (5 positions, 3 year term) You may apply to more than one committee. All interested individuals must be in good financial standing with the City (no more than $500.00 in arrears). There is a $100.00 indemnity paid via direct deposit for each meeting attended. The deadline for applications is December 20, 2011 at 4:30pm; applications may be picked up at the front desk of City Hall. All applications must have a resume attached to the application.
