Sherwood Merrywalkers Meeting Minutes 12/05/2011 Jane Leider called the meeting to order at BBC, following the Snails

s walk at 10:30 am. The first order of business was to elect officers for the 2012 year. Being there were no nominations from the floor, the proposed slate of officers was elected. President: Jane Leider Vice President: Mary Ann Hawke Secretary: Mary Fribley Treasurer: Mike Uyemura Membership: Lynette Waller Jane and Mike reported on the Christmas Walk held on Saturday, December 3rd. There were a total of 174 walkers, 80 of which paid. Donations totaled $47. Fees paid were $124. Net income for the walk was $157. The total in the bank account as of 12/05/11 is $1,165.05. 41 new blankets were donated for the Hope Diner-Clothes Pantry, and 34 used blankets were donated for the local veterinary clinics. Jane complimented Mike and Mary Rose for the durable signage. Jane explained that it had worked well to have one person designated in charge of the registration process, and recommended that the practice continue. It was suggested that there needs to be a designated rest room stop in Old Town. Jane stated that she believes Odge would be happy to provide access to the restroom in her store. Jane reminded everyone that the next walk will be the Easter Egg walk. Lynette reminded everyone that dues will be due in January. Jane requested that folks go to the on-line form on the website to update their information as needed. Jane reminded everyone of the Christmas Tea at the Lavender Tea House on December 20th.
