Dear Chef Kelly, Jacob Lee has worked for me filling positions of host, food runner, back waiter

and server since early July 2011. He is a first year culinary student at New England Culinary Institute. He worked full time in the NECI restaurant called NECI on Main, until his classes started in October. Now Jake works part time as classes permit. I realized immediately that Jake has very good communication skills. He has a warm welcoming personality, a strong work ethic and true enthusiasm for the culinary world. His many duties included providing fine dining quality service to our guests, cleaning and resetting tables, greeting guests and assisting servers with serving all courses. Jake has often been assigned the independent task of serving special parties in our private dining rooms; business dinners, etiquette dinners and holiday dinners. I have found that the guests find him charming and accommodating. Jake is a wonderful leader and teacher as well. I have called upon him many times to assist in training new employees, as well as students. He is thorough in his instructing and patient with his directions. Jake has impressed me by being an honest and hard working young man with a tremendous spirit. He has become an independent worker with great curiosity and he learned many new tasks. He is thought very highly of by his fellow students and co-workers here in the restaurant. I feel confident that you will find these same qualities and that he will become a wonderful addition to your staff. Sincerely, Beverly Maynard Lab Supervisor NECI on Main 118 Main Street Montpelier, Vermont 05602 (802) 225- 3304 December 10, 2011
