    Today in KiDS COR, we had a birthday party for Jesus!

    Consider holding a birthday party for Jesus in your neighborhood. Invite your neighbors for a simple celebration to help everyone remember the true meaning of Christmas. Ask people to bring canned food or an unwrapped toy for a child. Serve a birthday cake for Jesus. Play some simple, fun party games. Create cards or crafts to take to a lonely neighbor. Send everyone home with a Bible bookmark with this months memory verse on it. I give to you good news of great joy. Jesus is born! (Luke 2:10-11)

    Joseph and Mary traveled from Nazareth to Bethlehem. When they got to Bethlehem they tried to find a place to spend the night, but there was no room anywhere. Finally, an innkeeper let them stay in his stable. While they were there, Mary gave birth to baby Jesus. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in the manger because there was no room for them in the inn.
