Bosnia and Herzegovina Part 3

Foreword
I would like to remind us that the following is what I could gather from personal experience and research and that it is best to refer back to the 3ulama for more details as they are the real reference for our Muslim communities.

The people of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Da3wa

The present categories of people of Bosnia and Herzegovina are the non-Muslims (mostly Croats and Serbs), the Muslims that do not practice the Religion (mostly old people due to the memories of communism), the Muslims that pray (almost a third of the Muslim population from what I could gather) and those involved in Da3wa (a few resembling the Khawarij, others the Ikhwaanis, quite a few of the Sufis, apparently from the Naqsha Bandis) and literally a hand full of Salafis who are not in the country.

Da3wa Salafiyyah
It is not known that the call to Salafiyyah has properly entered the country until now. Some brothers are active in Da3wa but it could not be established that is was a call to Salafiyyah. Most of those brothers are selling books of Yusuf Al Qardawi and other unknown sheikhs. Another group which seemed to be the closest to the Sunnah is mentioning some of the 3ulama such as Sheikh bin Baz and Sheikh Muhammad bin AbdalWahab which is very good Alhamdulillah, but is likewise selling books of politics and books that would praise people of bid3a. A salafi contact has been established with a Bosnian Student of knowledge in Medina and with the will of Allah this will be the starting point for the Da3wa.

What now?
We need to make du3a and have a lot of patience with this affair and to know that only Allah can give us success. I will InshaAllah keep in touch with our salafi brother from Medina and see how things will develop. To be continued...
