    Portfolio

    Li Li Applicant for M.S. Broadcast Journalism

    Forward This is the portfolio dedicated to the M.S. Broadcast Journalism of Columbia University. Photography has been an important part of my life. I remember clearly at a very young age, my father would show me about his old Yashica camera and tell me about the essence of a good photo. Not until 2009 did I got my own camera. Everything started to go crazy since then. I would take my Nikon almost to every show I go, every place I visit. One unforgettable scene was at the Taishan MAO Music Festival where I did four interviews, took stage photos and enjoyed the music. It rained heavily back then, after finishing the interview, I went for the performance and took stage photos of MIYAVI, a Japanese guitarist. The crowd was crazy, the show was fantastic, and the rain was, except for the trouble for me to protect my camera, not at all annoying. Actually the photos came out quite good. However, I discussed with the manager, and it is a pity I cannot include them in this portfolio in protection of the artists copy right. I just hope this collection would bring my passion to you, and enjoy!
