Students from anywhere in Pakistan and overseas may apply. There are no quotas and no reserved seats. There are no admissions against donations. There are no arbitrary lower or upper age limits for admission. However, the Admission Committee has been reluctant in the past to admit very young or older applicants. Applicants must be able to demonstrate competence in English comprehension and expression, both written and oral.

AKU Test and Equivalent For applicants resident in Pakistan: AKU Admission Test: biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics and English. Or For applicants resident overseas, as applicable SAT I: minimum score for application: 1250 Or MCAT: minimum score for application: 24 Minimum academic requirements for application At least 50 percent in Pakistani Intermediate (Pre-Medical) Or At least B grade in British G.C.E. A-level biology and chemistry plus third subject preferably physics or mathematics. A language other than Urdu/English or any social science is also acceptable as the third subject. Or Grade 12 diploma with a minimum GPA of 3.25 or 85%. SAT II score of 700 each in biology, chemistry and third subject preferably physics or mathematics. A language other than Urdu/English or any social science is also acceptable as the third subject. Advance placement (AP) is also acceptable in lieu of SAT II. The minimum score requirement is 4 in each subject. Or Complete International Baccalaureate Diploma with biology and chemistry written at the Higher Level. Minimum score should be 32. Or At least 65 percent achievement in HSC from other countries with adequate proficiency in English. Or At least first division in a degree examination with biology and chemistry at Intermediate Level (irrespective of division and grade).
