    Unit: Rocks and Minerals Milk Of the Week: We will be learning about Igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks this week. We will explore how each one forms and how they are different.

    Weekly Story: Amazing Bird Nests
    Focus Skill: Main Idea & unfamiliar words Test: Friday, January 6th

    Unit: Native Americans Milk of the Week: We will finish up our Native American flipbooks. This week we will focus in on the Haudenosaunee and Cherokee Tribes.

    Writing
    During writing this week we will finish our winter book reports, and begin a new prompt. Our focus will be sentence fluency.
