submission of hard/soft copies: Monday Dec 19, 2011. Presentations to be made on Wednesday December 21, 2011. In case of late submission/arrival for presentation, project will immediately be disqualified; teams will be called up to present at random Project Parameters 1. Students are required to work in groups of 6 2. Each group will be assigned a store for study 3. Students will have to visit the stores and base their project analysis on information gathered by them 4. Students will be evaluated on their ability to apply concepts taught in the classroom to the project 5. Each member of the team will be required to present part of the project, which is to be done using PowerPoint. Soft copies are to be submitted in CDs. 6. Presentations are to be restricted to 10 minutes only Project Scope Students are required to cover the following issues in their projects: 1. Merchandise Mix 2. Category management approach 3. Brand Mix 4. Private label Brands, their positioning and pricing 5. Pricing strategy & policies 6. Store frontage and external dcor and Signage 7. Store layout and design 8.
