SALES AND DISTRIBUTION

A brief discussion was conducted on the sales procedure and the training given to sales persons on 9-12-11. As the discussion goes off, he started telling about the training given to the sales person. The work of the sales person in the car sales showroom is to explain about the product to the customers and to satisfy them to buy the product. For a better sales in the car showroom the sales person should have the following qualities. 1. Good communication 2.Self motivation 3.Sound knowledge about the product 4.efficeient understanding about the situation . Training given to the sales person: Before stepping in to the sales showroom, every sales person has to undergo 12 days hand on experience with the product and the specification about the product. During the training itself they are assessed by the persons in charge and after the training they are placed in showroom. The basic qualification needed is a diploma . Factors expecting in a sales person: Depending upon the current car market , the car sales is forecasted and incentives are given to the sales person , and for petrol car, more incentive is given as the petrol cars are not in move in the market. Toyota follows JIT (Just In Time) concept in their factory. The work of the team leader is to analyze and motivate the in charge sales person to meet the sales and to motivate them. Did MBA add value to a sales guy??? This is the question asked by me..The answer given by the Team leader is MBA graduates do smart work rather than Hard work. But now in the current situation , the salary expected by a MBA is much higher. A sales guy can learn a lot than anybody else. A successful sales person can lead a successful life .
