    Dear Mr. Cortes

    Greetings in Christ!

    Since its conception, Gawad Kalinga has built around 2,000 communities for the less fortunate Filipinos and we would like to thank you for being an advocate and a hero for the poor by being our partner in this mission.

    Today, we are being called again on a special mission which is to comfort our brethren in Negros Oriental who have been victims of the typhoon Sendong last weekend. From 8AM to 12PM, we are holding a relief goods operation at St. Scholasticas Academy. We will be repacking more or less 500 food packs and will be travelling late during the day to Dumaguete to distribute the goods. In line with this, we would like to request upon your good company for sugar donation that we can include in the food packs we will distribute.
