Surah al-Infitaar (The Cleaving)

ِ‫بِسْمِ الِ الرّحْمنِ الرّحِيم‬

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

 Surah al-Infitaar (The Cleaving)

ْ‫إِذَا السّمَاء انفَطَ َرت‬

[82:1] When the heaven becomes cleft asunder,
 Surah al-Infitaar (The Cleaving)

ْ‫وَإِذَا الْ َكوَا ِكبُ انتَثَ َرت‬

[82:2] And when the stars become dispersed,

 Surah al-Infitaar (The Cleaving)

ْ‫َوإِذَا الْبِحَا ُر فُجّ َرت‬

[82:3] And when the seas are made to flow forth,

 Surah al-Infitaar (The Cleaving)

ْ‫وَإِذَا الْ ُقبُورُ ُبعْثِ َرت‬

[82:4] And when the graves are laid open,

 Surah al-Infitaar (The Cleaving)

ْ‫علِ َمتْ نَفْسٌ مّا قَدّمَتْ وَأَخّ َرت‬

َ

[82:5] Every soul shall know what it has sent

before and held back.
 Surah al-Infitaar (The Cleaving)

ِ‫ن مَا غَرّكَ بِ َربّكَ الْكَرِيم‬

ُ ‫يَا َأيّهَا الِْنسَا‬

[82:6] O man ! what has beguiled you from your

Lord, the Gracious one,
 Surah al-Infitaar (The Cleaving)

َ‫ك فَعَدَلَك‬
َ ‫ك فَسَوّا‬
َ َ‫خلَق‬
َ ‫الّذِي‬

[82:7] Who created you, then made you complete,

then made you symmetrical?
 Surah al-Infitaar (The Cleaving)

َ‫فِي َأيّ صُورَ ٍة مّا شَاء َركّبَك‬

[82:8] Into whatever form He pleased He

constituted you.
 Surah al-Infitaar (The Cleaving)

ِ‫ل تُكَذّبُونَ بِالدّين‬

ْ َ‫كَلّ ب‬

[82:9] Nay! but you give the lie to the judgment

day,
 Surah al-Infitaar (The Cleaving)

َ‫وَإِنّ عََليْكُ ْم لَحَافِظِين‬

[82:10] And most surely there are keepers over you

Surah al-Infitaar (The Cleaving)

َ‫كِرَامًا كَا ِتبِين‬

[82:11] Honorable recorders,

Surah al-Infitaar (The Cleaving)

َ‫َيعَْلمُونَ مَا تَ ْفعَلُون‬

[82:12] They know what you do.

 Surah al-Infitaar (The Cleaving)

ٍ‫إِنّ الَْبْرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيم‬

[82:13] Most surely the righteous are in bliss,

 Surah al-Infitaar (The Cleaving)

ٍ‫ن الْفُجّارَ لَفِي جَحِيم‬

ّ ِ‫وَإ‬

[82:14] And most surely the wicked are in burning

fire,
 Surah al-Infitaar (The Cleaving)

ِ‫يَصَْلوْ َنهَا َيوْمَ الدّين‬

[82:15] They shall enter it on the day of judgment.

 Surah al-Infitaar (The Cleaving)

َ‫َومَا هُمْ عَ ْنهَا بِغَا ِئبِين‬

[82:16] And they shall by no means be absent from

it.
 Surah al-Infitaar (The Cleaving)

ِ‫َومَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا َيوْمُ الدّين‬

[82:17] And what will make you realize what the

day of judgment is?
 Surah al-Infitaar (The Cleaving)

ِ‫ثُمّ مَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا َيوْمُ الدّين‬

[82:18] Again, what will make you realize what the

day of judgment Is?
 Surah al-Infitaar (The Cleaving)

ِّ‫شيْئًا وَالَْمْ ُر يَوْمَئِذٍ ل‬

َ ٍ‫يَوْمَ لَ َتمْلِكُ نَ ْفسٌ ّلنَفْس‬

[82:19] The day on which no soul shall control

anything for (another) soul; and the command on
that day shall be entirely Allah's.
