    Guillotines & 'Sick' Light Guards Subject: AC - DC Relays

    When ordering replacement relays for the Guillotines care should be taken to ensure the correct relay is ordered and fitted. The Mark 2 660 Guillotine uses AC & DC Relays. Stock Reference 486 KA1 & SUNRELAY 1 respectively. All Other Guillotine uses AC relays only. Stock Reference 486 KA1 The two types of relay look very similar in construction. If in doubt check the voltage ratings displayed on the top of the relay cover. The relay type fitted in 'Sick' Light Guards is DC i.e. SUNRELAY 1

    Care should be taken when interchanging relays during fault finding that the correct type is used.
