Family Advocacy Classes for January 2012

Calm Communication for Couples: 10 January, 1100 - 1230, Bldg 314, Vance Library conference room. Do you and your partner argue frequently? Do you feel misunderstood? This class will teach communication danger signs and easy tools to learn how to communicate effectively and calmly with your partner. Call the Family Advocacy Program at 213-7419 to register or to schedule an individual session. Infant Communication/Baby Signs Class, 17 January, 1300- 1400, Bldg 314/A&FRC Conference Room. This class will help parents learn how to read and respond to verbal and non-verbal infant cues. Parents will learn the value of parent-infant communication in infant development and learn ways to encourage expressive language. We all hurt each other and make mistakes in our relationships. Come learn about the myths and realities of forgiveness.
