1.30 2.15 Garth Jennings, director Garth has directed films, adverts and music videos. He is best known for Son of Rambow and the Blur video with the milk cartons- Coffee and TV. He will talk about his work and show some examples and take questions from the audience. 2.15 3.30 News Reporting in a year of Big Stories: Alex Thomson and Paul Lewis (Chair: Pete Fraser) Alex Thomson is Channel 4 News Chief Correspondent. He has spent a big chunk of his career in war zones. Paul Lewis works for The Guardian and was in the thick of the action during the summer riots. Alex and Paul will talk about their work and take questions from the audience about news reporting, particularly in relation to this summers big news stories: Libya, the Riots and Hackgate. NB If Alex is needed for a story overseas, foreign correspondent Jonathan Miller from C4 will take his place at the conference.
