Seriously though, is Christmas all about presents?

I don't think so, you get the present, you don't like it and you have to take it back. I think that Christmas is all about the gift, the one unique gift. Romans 6:23b says The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. That says that eternal life is a gift. But what is eternal life? John 17:3 says And this is life
eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. This verse is saying that eternal life is a personal relationship

with God who created the heavens and the earth, and with His Son the One and Only Chosen Savior of the World. So how do you get this gift? John 1:12 says But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: Amazingly enough you get this gift the same way you get presents at Christmas, you receive it. Ya, but how do I receive it? Acts 16:31b says Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, Faith is how the gift of a relationship with God is received. You see we have no ability on our own to please God. But He says He is very pleased with His Son. Matthew 17:5 says This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. The reason is this. Psalm
40:7-8 Says

Jesus did what we could not do, fulfilled the law of God. To the point of even dying on the cross as the payment for our sins.

Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.

This is the

gift of salvation in Jesus Christ. This is the one gift that I can guarantee you will not have to take back! In fact those who receive this gift will not trade it for the WORLD.
We pray that you will receive Christ today,

Bill and Shirley
