Take a Mental Dump! Life is very stressful and it seems to get more stressful every day. At some point you have to mentally dump everything in order to clear your mind and start fresh. Hey who needs extra baggage? Taking a mental dump is about releasing stress and living a happier life. Let's just face it if you can't see your life slowing down anytime soon you need to keep reading. You will learn how to dump the garbage and quit recycling. Learn to let go of excess baggage Why are you still worrying about things in the past that you can't change? Take a deep breath and exhale right now. As you are breathing outward, vow to let go of anything negative that has happened to you in the past. Always remember that good or bad it was meant to be. Stop recycling negative thoughts and trash them No one wants to hear about how everything bad always happens to you; no one cares about your bad luck. People are too busy thinking about their own life to be concerned with yours. When something bad happens replace the negative thought with a positive one. Complete this action every time and make it a point to find one good thing in the bad thing that happened. When in doubt write it out When bad things happen to you, write about them, nine times out of ten someone else is going through the same thing. Writing helps soothe the soul and relieve stress. Add meditation to your day Learn to be still and enjoy silence for about 5-8 minutes a day. Concentrate on your dreams and goals that you have for the future, and calm your mind. If you have a noisy house wait until everyone falls asleep to complete this final step. Learning to replace the bad with the good is a challenge but it is doable.
