BEING SAFE FROM FEAR & HARM

Power Text: Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles (wiles means: strategies and deceitfulness ) of the devil. Ephesians 6:12-13 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Ephesians 6:14-19 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. BRIEF STORY: At least 65 people have died and more than 100 are missing after a powerful earthquake struck the southern New Zealand city of Christchurch, collapsing buildings, burying vehicles under debris and sending rescuers scrambling to help people trapped under rubble. The 6.3-magnitude quake struck the country's second largest city on a busy weekday afternoon. Earthquakes can range from different levels of danger. They can be small and measure a 3 on the scale and not be felt or they can measure a 6 to a 9.5 and be devastating. The individuals in this case had little or no time to react. Almost sounds a little bit like LIFE ITSELF. Sometimes there are situations that can catch us off guard and have dangerous results. One thing we can count on is the anchor called Jesus and his word stresses the importance of covering yourself EACH DAY from the strategies and deceitfulness of the devil. Every morning before you face this world of uncertainty declare Eph 6:14-19 over yourself, your family, and your job, and watch God move miraculously on your behalf.
