    Who: Students What: Plan a Carpenter Community Rules: The City of Cary has asked students to plan a community around our school. You need to make sure your community plan meets the following guidelines: 2 sets of parallel and perpendicular roads Other intersecting streets Elementary school Middle school that is a rotation of the elementary school High school that is a reflection across the street of the middle school City hall Fire station Police station Library Grocery Store Gas station 2 restaurants Park with a circular lake Sports complex Movie theater Neighborhood with 10-20 houses that are congruent to each other Art museum that is a right triangle 2 structures that are not polygons You need to incorporate pentagons, hexagons, quadrilaterals, and triangles You need to create a key that identifies these guidelines Compass In addition to your community map, you need to write a one-page persuasive essay in order to convince the City of Cary to use your architectural plan when building their new community. Remember, they have over 50 plans to choose from, so make your community and essay stand out in their minds. Due: March 28th
