A square is a regular quadrilateral.

In geometry, a square is a regular quadrilateral. This means that it has four equal sides and four equal angles (90-degree angles). A square with vertices ABCD would be denoted ABCD

The perimeter (P) of a square whose sides have length t is

P = 4t

If t is 10 cm so the perimeter is P = 4t P = 4 x 10 P = 40 and the perimeter is 40 cm

The area (A) of a square is the product of the length of its sides. And the area is

A = t2
In classical times, the second power was described in terms of the area of a square, as in the above formula. This led to the use of the term square to mean raising to the second power.

If t is 5 cm, so the area is A = t2 A = 52 A = 25 and the area is 25 cm2

The diagonals (d) of a square are times the length of a side of the square. If the square has length s, diagonal of that is

The length of the diagonal square is equal and divide two equal parts.
