Re: 89-769 - Admonishment
Dear Judge Stoker:
Having received your signed Proposal for Admonishment, I
send this Letter of Admonishment on behalf of the Commission on
LTudicia1 Conduct. The Commission feels no further action is now
warranted. This Admonishment is public under Commission Rule 19.
The Commission on Judicial Conduct finds a violation of
Canons 2, 3(A) (4), and 3(C) (1) (a) of the Code of Judicial Conduct
by ex parte communication while presiding over a case and
contacting an Assistant City Attorney in 1983 who was handling a
case involving a relative. You are admonished to be careful in
the future to avoid violation of the Code of Judicial Conduct.
We thank you for your cooperation.
