    Adodc (Active x Data object Data Control)

    The Adodc is database access paradigm that enable client application to access and manipulated data in a database server through on OLEDB (Object Linking Embedded database) provider. Features of ADODC
    ADODC is more flexible & powerful.

    Easy to use. ADODC support various database formats like MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word, HTML, PDF etc Small disk footprint ie. Low requirement of disk space. ADODC are comp ratable faster than RDO and DAO(Data Access Object). Using ADO Data Control(ADODC) To add & connect a ADODC tools follows a following steps:1) Select Microsoft ADODC tool from Components.

    2)Drag ADODC tool from Toolbox to form.

    3) Set the properties of ADODC. When we right click on ADODC than drop down list is comes then we select ADODC properties then dialog box is open.

    4) After that we click on Build Button then another dialog box is display on screen.

    From this dialog box we select the Microsoft Jet 3.51 OLEDB provider then click on Next button. 4) After that dialog box of Data link Properties is open.

    From this dialog box we set the database name then click on Test Connection button 5)
