Course outline: This course introduces how information systems can be integrated into an organization in order to support business processes at the enterprise level as well as business functions of marketing, manufactoring, human resource management, accounting, and finance, It also gives an understanding of the importance of electronic commerce and the role of which the Internet is playing in the evolution of electronic commerce for companies doing business in todays networked global markets. Besides, several issues related to the development of electronic business systems will be discussed.
