2, Brganul Lesson: A holiday to remember Textbook: Pathway to English Time: 50 minutes Unit : Holidays Materials: textbook, blackboard,dictionaries. Lesson aims: By the end of the lesson the students will be able to: - to talk about likes and dislikes; - to describe past events; - to develop the ability of speaking in English. Organization: individual work, group work. Skills: speaking, writing, reading. Warm- up: Teacher asks for the attendance list and checks the homework Checking previous knowledge. When we use present continuous and present simple. Activity 1 Aims: to write on their notebook what is Steve enjoing by looking in the pictures; to complete the table writing what they enjoy to do; to express what they like and what they dislike.. PROCEDURE -T. say to Ss to write on their notebook what is Steve enjoing by looking in the pictures; -T. ask Ss to complete the table writing about what they enjoy to do; -T expalin Ss how we use likes and dislikes and they write on their notebooks. -Ss are asked to express what they like and what they dislike;

Activity 2 Aims: - to report back to the class the results of the ex 1/b ; - to look back to ex 1/a and write which of the words from the box we find in Steves letter; - to read the letter and compare with their lists and say who were right or wrong; - to read the text again and say which of the pictures in ex 1/a correspund to paragraphs 2,3,4.
