Down for the Count

Reeling from the pain of the sack, feeling weak, and ready to crack, Whos on my side? Who has my back? Im beset with too much to do. There is so much I cant undo. Aggh! I just cant give it; its due. A black box of self confidence or, a black hole of impudence -My head hurts and I cannot sleep, my heart aches and in pain I weep, my soul winces and the wounds deep. The end of the dark tunnels light, hiding from me right in plain sight, nowhere to turn I cant take flight. A black box of self confidence or, a black hole of impudence -Confidence begets confidence, working side-by-side lends credence, and avoids any dissidence. Impudence brings forth impudence, insisting that all is coincidence, and then denying providence. A black box of self confidence or, a black hole of impudence -Surely I can solve the riddle: do; not try -- my thumbs not twiddle; find the way right through the middle. Reassured I find the courage, I rest assured and encourage, I ensure and never discourage.
