MINUTES SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF ANSONIA Date: Thursday, December 1, 2011 Location: Main Office 36 Main Street, Ansonia, CT Meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. Upon roll call, the following commissioners were present: Chairman James Tyma Commissioner Flore Jett Commissioner Michael Vacca Commissioner Shaun Supp Commissioner Michael Vacca made a motion to go into Executive Session inviting Attorney Jeff Tuccio and Attorney Lisa Eagan for discussion and update regarding Gwen Archers pending claim and personnel matters regarding Executive Director Jim Finnucan and Compliance Coordinator Tiffany Reeves. Commissioner Flore Jett seconded the motion. The motion was passed by unanimous vote of the Board. The Board entered Executive Session at 6:01 p.m. Executive Director James Finnucan was invited into Executive Session and thereafter exited Executive Session. Commissioner Shaun Supp made a motion to go back to regular session at 10:00 p.m. Commissioner Flore Jett seconded the motion. The motion was passed by unanimous vote of the Board. Commissioner Flore Jett made a motion to direct Executive Director Jim Finnucan to meet with Attorney Lisa Egan on Friday, December 2, 2011, and as necessary thereafter in connection with the investigation into claims brought by Gwen Archer and new allegations. Commissioner Michael Vacca seconded the motion. The motion passed by unanimous vote of the Board. Commissioner Flore Jett made a motion to authorize Executive Director Jim Finnucan to take action on December 2, 2011 to terminate the employment of Tiffany Reeves effective December 2, 2011. Commissioner Shaun Supp seconded the motion. The motion was passed by unanimous vote of the Board. Commissioner Michael Vacca moved to adjourn at 10:04 p.m. Commissioner Flore Jett seconded the motion, the motion was carried by unanimous vote of the Board. Time: 6:00 p.m.
