Pepper Chicken Kuzhambu
6 stks 1 no tsp tsp 2 tsp 3 tsp tsp 3 tsp 1 tsp 4 tbsp cup Instructions Take a deep sauce pan , heat oil toast cumin, fennel seeds and bay leaf , saute chopped onions and green chillies until golden brown, add ginger garlic paste, chopped tomatoes and cook till tender. Add chicken pieces at this stage along with turmeric powder, red chilli powder, dhania powder, black pepper powder, salt and water. Stir to combine, reduce to simmer for few minutes. Let the chicken cook thoroughly and when the gravy thickens to required consistency garnish with fresh curry and corrainder leaves. Chicken (1/2 kg approx, cut into small pieces) Onion (very finely minced) Tomato (finely chopped or crushed) Green chilli (finely chopped) Ginger garlic paste Curry leaves Corrainder leaves (chopped) Bay leaf Cumin seeds Fennel seeds Red chilli powder Corrainder/dhania powder Turmeric powder Black pepper powder (freshly ground preferred) Salt (or to taste) Oil Water
