FROM @OccupyOslo TO THE MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS SUBJECT: SCENESETTER FOR YOUR VISIT TO WASHINGTON DC Mr.

Store, your visit to Washington to meet with US minister of foreign affairs Mrs. Clinton is of great significance. As many Americans are starting to wake up to the fact that war is a costly and inefficient affair which they simply not can afford. We, the Norwegian people stand with the American people in this crisis they're facing and would like to have our voice heard by the American Government because Americans have shown in the past its leadership in promoting liberty and equality in the world, whereas now we believe they are in a crossroad of becoming the opponent of these same values they champion. So we ask that they should go back to the same principles G. Washington and others have proclaimed all their lives. US minister of foreign affairs Mrs. Hillary Clinton, which you will be meeting, is friendly, strong and intelligent. Much like yourself one of the jewels of the US Government. Talking points BRADLEY MANNING We would like you to condemn the immoral detention of Bradley Manning, a young man which did nothing wrong but to tell the uncomfortable truth of war and its human consequences. OCCUPY WALL STREET We would like you to condemn the crackdown of peaceful protests, mainly in Oakland but also in New York. This is a clear violation of UN resolution A/C.3/66/L.44/Rev. Promotion and protection of human rights a resolution which Norway tabled. STOP ONLINE PIRACY ACT We would like to oppose the forthcoming law Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA), which would destroy the internet. NATIONAL DEFENSE AUTHORIZATION ACT We would like to oppose the recently passed law National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). We are concerned of the fact that almost any critic of and act against governmental "systems" may result in suspicions and allegations of terrorist activities with the possibility of arrest and detention without trial as a result.
