successful English learning)

• 1. read vocally one article of 200-500
words everyday so as to
(a) enlarge your vocabulary
(b) learn how the English thinks and
(c) improve your listening comprehension.
• 2. Listen to or watch English programs on
the radio ,TV , mp3 or the tape everyday
for about 15 minuts to improve your
listening comprehension by
 (a) reviewing words and expressions
(b) getting familiar with the correct
pronuciation and intonation of native
or good English speakers.
• 3. Speak English to your classmates, or
to yourself if no partner is available, to
improve your oral Englsih
• 4. Practise translation from Chinese to
English at any time when any idea
occurs to you to upgrade your writing
and translation skills and your oral
English.
• 5. Write in English whenever possible.
