    The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli is setting up an embedded system laboratory using Intel Atom processor kits. They are inviting applications from 3rd year students in CHE/CSE/EEE/ECE/ICE/MECH branches with a CGPA between 3-4 of more than 8 to work on short term embedded system projects using the kits from December 2011 with a stipend of Rs. 5000 per month.     Intel Atom 5X series processors are poised to become the most preferred platform for the implementation of wireless embedded system. Embedded system laboratory using Atom kits is being set up at our institute. Applications are invited from the 3rd students of CHE/CSE/EEE/ECE/ICE/MECH branches (with overall CGPA(3-4) of more than 8) for carrying out short term projects on embedded systems using these kits during DEC 2011. Students selected for this internship will be paid a stipend of Rs.5000 p/m. Interested students are requested to send their applications to kr@nitt.edu on or before 4.11.2011. The following particulars in word file should be submitted as an attachment to the mail.
