Rooting Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman WT19i

by Denny Hermawanto 1. Prepare the computer. 1. Download and install Android SDK manager from http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html 2. Run Android SDK manager from your PC 3. Install Google USB Driver package by selecting the package from Extras packages as shown in the Figure 1 as follows:

Click Install package button to start downloading and installing the packages. Be sure that your PC is connected to the internet. 4. Download and extract Easy rooting toolkit for SonyEricsson WT19i created by DooMLoRD from: http://www.mediafire.com/?cu1yy79qb2z69f4

2. Prepare the phone 1. Allow non-market application installation

Settings->Applications->Unknown Sources
2. Activate USB-debugging mode

Settings->Applications->Development->USB Debugging

3. Extend Screen timeout setting Settings->DisplayScreen time out->30 minutes

3. Rooting process 1. Connect the phone to PC 2. Run rooting program wt19i.exe from the rooting toolkit folder that we have already downloaded. 3. Press any key to start the process

4. Follow the process, if you find the program stuck in a process (no respond) just press Ctrl-C to continue the process. 5. If rooting process is finished your devices will reboot automatically. 6. After rebooted, your Android device is already rooted. 7. Happy rooting
