- The official tables for this unit did not specify the distribution of rifles or Sten submachine guns. - Each battalion had a pool of 300 submachine guns for distribution as required. The fields in yellow depict possible distributions of rifles and submachine guns as suggested by Gary Kennedy on "www.bayonetstrength.150m.com" and Trux on "www.ww2talk.com/forum/airborne-forces/". Note the battalion admin platoon also held a pool of .303" rifles for use by the headquarters company and the battalion headquarters.
