Pollution
Cars and factories are very dirty.
They can also be very dangerous for
people, wildlife and the environment.
Some of the most serious problems
produced are:
Acid rain this happens when gases
and chemicals mix water in the air.
The mixed travels for hundreds of
miles and finally falls on the earth. Because acid rain contains a lot of
chemicals, it kills fish and trees.
The greenhouse effect gases and chemicals are the reason for this
problem. Some of them stay in the air, like a blanket. Due to this, the
earths climate is changing.
Waste Most of the countries bury and forget about millions of tones
of rubbish every year. But we dont have to throw away all our waste
paper, glass, metal and plastic. We have to recycle, reuse and reduce.

Health
People dont just pollute the atmosphere. They pollute
themselves too, when they use cigarettes, when they eat junk food,
when they drink alcohol, for example.
The question is: how can we become healthier?
We should eat fruit and vegetables, brown bread, white meat and
avoid sugar and fat. We must do some exercise, relax and drink water.
Doing this we will help ourselves to be healthy.

- Acupuncture controls the bodys energy with needles.
- Homeopathy uses natural drugs in plants and flowers to beat
illness.
- Osteopathy is a system of movements which corrects
problems with the bones and muscles.

Wildlife

Man hunts or kills millions of animals every year. The

environment is being reduced. Man goes on cutting down trees,
building more roads and so leaving fewer jungles, fields and forests or
wildlife. Many of the worlds seas and oceans are polluted which kills
and destroys many creatures, like the whale, the dolphin and the seal.
