    CONTRA INDICATION Contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to drug.

    SIDE-EFFECTS Hematologic: hemolytic anemia Neutropenia Hepatic: Jaundice Metabolic: Hypoglycemia

    NURSING CONSIDERATION Use liquid form for children and patients who have difficulty swallowing. Advise patient that drug is only for short term use and to consult the physician if giving to children for longer than three days or adults for longer than 10 days. Assess patients fever or pain, type of pain, location, intensity, duration, temperature, diaphoresis.

    Paracetamol Symptomatic reduces fever relief of pain and and relieves the fever. BRAND NAME muscular pain Biogesic characteristic of influenza. It DOSAGE decreases fever 500 mg 1 tab po by inhibiting the PRN q 4 effects of 1 amp IV q4 for pyrogens on the fever 38.5C and hypothalamic up heat regulating centers and by a CLASSIFICATION hypothalamic Anti Pyretic action leading to sweating and PREPARATION vasodilation. 1 tab, 1 amp
