    1. Load any track of your choice onto your audacity.

    2. Select a patch of the track by using the

    tool at the top.

    3. Go to Analyze -> Plot Spectrum

    You will get an output like the following, where you can look at the frequency spectrum of the selected part of the track in dBs.

    4. Now just add the High Pass Filter effect to the whole of the track added on your workspace.

    5. You will see the track changed as follows.

    6. Again select the same part of the track and view its plot spectrum

    7. Just play with the software and get acquainted to more effects. Enjoy!
