James Potter FOR RELEASE: Phone: 456-3421 Fax: 456-3785 12-4990 On Tuesday, January 18, 2012 at 1703 hrs., the Grand Rapids Police Department responded to a bank robbery at the Huntington Bank branch at 1158 Wealthy St. SE. A B/M suspect entered the bank, implied that he had a weapon and demanded money from the teller. Upon receiving money from the teller the suspect fled out of the bank on foot. The Grand Rapids Police Department searched for the suspect but did not locate him. The suspect is described as a B/M, 20-30 yrs. old, approx. 58 tall, medium build, 160 lbs. The suspect was wearing an oversized black jacket with hood, a black knit hat, and light blue scrub type pants. He also used some type of hair net to cover his face.
