The Outstretched Hand On the corner of life stands a woman; A beggar- a woman in need.

She holds out her hand for a morselat least, thats what the passers-by see. They walk by her, one after another. They glance, but her presence disdain. Yet she stands out there, moment by moment, whether sunshine or winters cold rain. And nobody seems to mind her. The people pass by every day. But theres One who gives her such attentionHe is near, and yet so far away. He has taught her that Love is a blessing, and much more than the words that we say. Hes shown her that her heart is for giving to one special person someday. Still the people pass by and none bother. Perhaps theyre too perfect, to grand to see that shes not taking, but offering her heart in her outstretched hand.
