How to create and upload a tariff

A tariff is a complete set of rates for a specific account, customer or vendor. Thus it should include every possible destination allowed by your service plan. To create a tariff, 1. You have to download all the call rates for each destination from the Worldkom website. 2. You have to create an excel sheet with the following fields as shown in the figure Fields Name Currency Description The name for the tariff object.
Indicates the currency in which pricing information is defined. All pricing information for a single tariff must be defined in the same currency. Tariff description. While the name of a tariff is for your internal use, and is usually created according to your internal rules, you can also add a name meaningful to your reseller. For example, for the tariff name aABC-SmartCall-USD-1800, the short description will be Smart call using a tollfree number.

Off-Peak Period

Off-peak periods are defined using a powerful and flexible Time::Period module. It is not necessary to give the off peak period in the tariff.

Off-Peak Description

Human-readable description of the off-peak period (e.g. From 21:00 until 09:00, Working Days ).

Destination Group Set

A set of destination groups (UK-Mobile, CZMobile, etc.) you would like to use for more convenient rate entry.

Free Seconds

Post Call Surcharge

Number of free seconds granted for each call. In order to claim free seconds, the length of the call must be at least one billing unit (i.e. the first interval; see the Enter Rates section above). Increases the total call cost by the given value.

Login Fee

Amount to be charged immediately after the first user authentication

Connect Fee

Amount to be charged for each successful call, in addition to other charges.

Formula

Default call rating formula applied to new rates. Note that the value of this parameter is only used when a new rate is inserted. Modification of this parameter has no effect on existing rates.

Destination

Destination prefix. May be entered directly, e.g. 47 for Norway; or you can access the destinations directory by clicking the Destination link. In the destinations directory pop-up window, you can search for the desired prefix by country name.

Country

Country corresponding to the current destination. First billing unit in seconds. Next billing unit in seconds. Per minute price for first interval. Per minute price for next interval. First billing unit in seconds for off-peak time. Next billing unit in seconds for off-peak time. Per minute price for first interval in off-peak time. Per minute price for next interval in off-peak time. Exact time when the rate becomes effective.

3. Now you have to copy all the destinations, country and rates from the file you downloaded from worldkom and paste it as shown in the figure.

4. Save the file .CSV format. 5. Add a new tariff in the porta server as shown in the figure.

6. Give the same name and currency as given in the excel sheet and click save and close.

7. Now open the same tariff and click upload

8. Select the button and checkbox as shown in the figure. 9. Click browse and select the excel sheet you saved as CSV format 10. Click save and close.
