Master Course Applied Environmental Geoscience


Application Requirements
A first degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in Geosciences, Geoecology, Geophysics, Mineralogy, Geography, Soil Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Sciences, Civil Engineering or a field related to environmental sciences with an overall grade better than 2,5 German grading system. - To be able to convert your grade to the German system we need to know your overall grade, as well as the maximum grade and the minimum grade for passing. Proof of English language efficiency equivalent to a TOEFL score of 79 ibt or equivalent.

PLEASE NOTE: You do not need to have completed your Bachelor degree to be considered for a place on the course. You can also apply if you are in the final year and will finish before September. In this case you should provide us with a preliminary transcript of records.
Important: Applications will only be considered if all requirements are fulfilled !!! We cannot consider incomplete applications, applications via fax or email, or applications with uncertified photocopies. DO NOT send original documents, as we cannot return your application.

Application Documents
To apply please send the following documents (NOTE: documents in languages other than English, German or French must be translated): Application Form Letter of Motivation (1-2 pages) in which you state why you want to study the AEG Course Curriculum Vitae Certificates and Transcript of Records from University (copies) TOEFL 79+ (ibt) or 213+ (cbt), IELTS 6.0 or equivalent test (copy) 2 References from Lecturers or Professionals (please use the standardised Reference Form) Applicants from CHINA, VIETNAM and MONGOLIA have to provide an APS certificate along with their application documents. Important: Students who are planning to apply for scholarships, e.g. DAAD, need to be aware of the respective application deadlines, which are generally one year prior to the start of the course.
