If you are not currently on State Restriction of Appointments (SROA) for any other California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation departmental layoff plan, you will be removedfrom the layoff process. The State Personnel Board will be notified to remove your name from the SROA certification process. In addition, as you are no longer subject to the layoff/placement process, reemployment list eligibility is not applicable. You may appeal this notice as provided by DPA Rule 599.904, unless otherwise provided by your collective bargaining agreement. In the event you are impacted by a future departmental layoff plan, you will be noticed accordingly and be afforded a new SROA/surplus status.
