CSR on employees
Air Asia is one of the first airline company to hire females pilot. This is considered as a CRS because Air Asia provides equal opportunities for females to compete with the opposite gender. Other than that, the CEOs value their employees by listening to their suggestion and opinions. They think that they are the company s best asset.
CSR on environment
To help play a part on saving the environment, the company took an initiative to improve fuel efficiency. They do this by improving their planes by employing fuel-saving aerodynamic design which resulting in a low fuel-burn emission and noise.
CSR on society
During natural disasters, Air Asia extended their CSR towards society. As seen recently, they joined hand with UNICEF to raise funds for children and families that became victims to the earthquake in Haiti. They also offered free transportation to and from disaster areas.
CSR on customer
Air Asia are well known for their excellent customer service. This can be seen when the company listens and answers to their customers complains and suggestions.
