Students who are selected from this round of contests will go on to compete in the Utah State SkillsUSA contests to be held at SLCC on March 30, 2012. State competitors will be assigned a real life assignment to complete. First place winners at the State Competition will be sent to Kansas City MO. to compete in the National SkillsUSA contests, June 22-28, 2012. (95% of EXPENSES PAID!) TO ENTER ONE OF THE CONTESTS, Students must submit the following items to South City Campus Rm. SCM-N281, on or before Monday Feb.13, 2012. 1. 2012 SkillsUSA VAD entry form (Pick up a form at Redwood Campus in Rm. AD 326, at South Campus in Rm. SCM-N281 , or download online at http://www.slcc.edu/visualart/Events.asp 2. SLCC Academic Transcript.(Hardcopy) This can be accessed at www.slcc.edu - MyPage (does not have to be official) 3. A portfolio of recent work in either hardcopy or digital format, or both. y Digital portfolios should be on a CD (DVD) or be available online at a website y Hardcopy portfolios should be contained in a portfolio box or an artists traditional carrying case.
